Every decision is based on some values. There are no such things as technical decisions or economical necessities. It comes all to what we value. I value the following:
We can change the university. We can save the world.
Equality and fair treatment
I believe in the UN declaration of human rights. I believe every student no matter which language he or she speaks or what culture is she/he from, we are all equal and deserve to be treated fair.
Academic freedom
We deserve to make our own choices for what we study and what we don't.
Tolerance
Languages, cultures, arts and sciences are richness, not a burden.
Kind heartedness
No one deserves bad treatment. Everyone has right for a new try and there should be room to learn from mistakes too.
Ethics
Without arts, culture and ethics you are just a machine. No one needs to be a machine.
Why did I list my values?

*) Election days are 16th, 17th, 20th and 21st of April. Every student in TKK, Helsinki School of Economics and University of Art and Design Helsinki (TaiK) are entitled to vote. Voting points are located at main lobby of each university.
